“Let go, or be dragged.”
— Zen proverb
Most of us try to assert, at least some degree of, control over all aspects of our lives.
We seek to control what our future looks like.
We try to control the outcome of something meaningful to us.
We want to control how others react.
We want to control how things are in the world.
This happens all the time. Most of us are guilty of it. But does our thirst to control things ever really work?
What if we let go instead?
Let go of trying to control an outcome.
Let go of false needs.
Let go of needing to feel like we are in control.
Let go of seeking to control that which can never truly be controlled.
