Walking Meditations

“Every path, every street in the world is your walking meditation path.”

– Thich Nhat Hanh

The world always looks brighter, and problems seem easier to solve, after a good long walk.

To walk for the sheer enjoyment of the walk itself.

Time to ponder.

Time to reflect.

Time to heal.

Time to let go of what was weighing heavy.

At its best, a long walk can be a moving meditation.  We let the mud settle.  We empty our cup.

Rejuvenated.  Reinvigorated.  Replenished.  Ready to go again.

There is power in the simple act of walking.
