Random Acts of Kindness

“Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness.” – Seneca

Kindness,
Open mind and open heart,
Strength

In a world of getting ahead, scoring points and beating things into submission, we can forget about the quieter arts.  Kindness is one such trait.

Kindness can help others, raising them up.

Kindness can bring hope where there was little.

Kindness can bring joy (to us and to others).

Small Acts of Kindness Add Up

We can build a kindness habit into our days by seeking out opportunities to do something for someone else, or for the world at large.

Not every act of kindness has to be large or grand.  Taking a neighbour’s rubbish in, making time to listen to a friend’s troubles over coffee, a smile and thank you to the bus driver that has just gotten you where you need to go.  They all count, they all add up and they all make a difference.

Some perceive kindness as a weakness, something that can be exploited.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

Kindness can build bridges.

Kindness is powerful.

Kindness is strength.

Applying the Kindness Habit to Our Days

We can make kindness a regular part of our routine.  In fact, kindness is a habit we should all be exercising, as often as we can, in our own unique way.

Make the world a better place to be, one act of kindness at a time.
