A Practice Mindset

To show up.  To commit.

To establish a rhythm.

Small steps, stumbles and resets.

To practice with no crowd sight.

To practice with the largest of crowds in sight.

To embrace the process for its own end.

To be with the craft.  To be in it.

To discard any expectations, except that we will give the best of ourselves today.   Then commit to do the same tomorrow and the day after that and so on.

To know shortcuts and ‘hacks’ are nothing but a snake oil pitch.

To understand the resistance will always be there but know we must push through it anyway.

To realise this is the way, the only way, to get better.

To show up, to expose ourselves, to give our best effort.  To strive without forcing.  To focus.  To work.  To approach what we do as a consummate professional.

To know this is the path we have chosen and we will continue to choose it.
